Welcome to Kymbrook a small rural school with a roll of 51 children in September 2017. The original building dates from 1875 which has been supplemented by the addition of more recent extensions and a new build hall and the additional classroom for the new year 5/6 class. The school has the advantages of a swimming pool, large detached field and an outside wooden play area.
The school is a part of the
Kymbrook and Thurleigh Federation this provides us with many benefits and opportunities. The school is maintained by the local authority and caters for the age range of 4-11 years with a Pre-School on site for children from 2 years old. We can provide wrap around care, via the Pre-School, from 8a.m. up until 6:00p.m. if required.
We believe strongly in Equal Opportunities , school has access for pupils with disabilities.
The Staff and Governors strive to provide the best education possible for each individual child’s needs and abilities.
We believe that the school is more than just the curriculum that we provide for your children. We will ensure that your children have a safe, secure and happy time in school; we will help them to grow morally, spiritually, physically as well as academically.
We are a Values federation basing all our shared experiences, practices and behaviour systems firmly on a foundation of shared and understood values.
